Not knowing that Christineman man on e-bay is Mopar Mel I did a "Buy it now" on a pair of Stainless Steel headliner rails, the ones that run front to back. WELL, even before I got them he had reduced the "buy it now" to $100.00. I opened the box and what I got was two strips with Stainless Steel tape on them that was not centered, was coming loose and where it did adhere was full of air bubbles, big ones. Foolishly I gave him good feedback and requested he do the same for me. I also asked him to refund $100.00 (knowing from what I have heard about him that it would never happen) I have never received any feedback what-so-ever or a reply of any kind. Anyway beware, this clown is selling crap and won't back up his product.

Boy, Dick, that is really a stinker!! I was going to purchase a set of those headliner retainers, but not now! I had heard a lot of things about this guy, and even contacted him once regarding headliner panels [that were outrageously expensive]. BTW, most of the things I had heard from others were not exactly words of praise. ---John

Yes, Christineman is Mopar Mel. Mel Bohnencamp, of Fertile Minnesota. Apparently he owns that county, or its officials...keeping 300+ cars on a farm from which he runs his junkyard, selling parts good and bad. He also "restores" cars..taking ID tags off one to put on another, calling Belvederes Furys, etc. slapping on the bondo. I have hears too many horror stories about him. Have you seen his website..wherein he thanks God for all his blessings. He has a few kids too,who must know the crap he pulls
Mel was banned for a time from Ebay for "shilling", a practice wherein he advertises an item, then starts bidding the price up from a different address ..when he was caught, he whined that he didn't know that was illegal. He is total scum, but so far nobody has been able to stop his antics.

You should also post this story at the forwardlook.net and let those folks know what you recieved..
If you paid with paypal,or a credit card, I would file a charge back against him and get your money back... His business practices are total B.S. and he needs to be held accountable..

Dick: I hope you can get your money back!About 3 years ago I bought some small stuff (windshield washer squirters/bases and a foot unit for my 60 Dodge Dart
from Mopar Mel no problem, but I got burned $1000 for a gas tank from him for my Fury that was worth ... maybe a couple of hundred. I was relatively new to the hobby then. Some buyers on the FL have said that Mel does occasionally have good stuff but I will never buy from him again. This sort of behavior HELPS NONE OF US. A reasonable profit margin I can understand. But burning us regular hobbyist folks? Preying on the inexperienced? Giving us inferior products when we are willing to pay for good quality ? We could use more people remanufacturing all sorts of stuff for our vehicles, but not like this! Beth H.
