Here's a direct link to his 59 Plymouth page:

Great car but what do you think of the colour Stefan

Ron,
the colour also called my attention when I first saw the pictures. I prefer a two-tone paint with the roof painted in a different colour, but this is not original. Richards car looks all original. It seems to be a XX car (iceberg white – top and body).

I thought I had heard he sold the car; I'm glad to see he hasn't! I mailed the fanmail address on our behalf, and asked them to forward to Richard. Let's see if he consents to join our group!

That white on white rocks. My dream is to change mine to all white. But I just can't get up enough courage to put the sand paper to her. So she'll probably stay copper. Maybe I'll just paint the roof white and see what happens.

Wherediditgo? I blinked, and it's gone...
Anyone know what might have happened? Or if it's going to come back?
I never did get a reply to my email, either...

Yup, it's definitely gone. I thought in might have been a fluke with a domain name resolution, but it appears to have dropped off the map.
Really, really curious.

Stefan,
You are wrong about not beeing original with two-tone colour. Check the options booklet I mailed you and you will see that two-tone was a factory option for $16.95
Those were the days!
By the way, my Sport Fury was originally a XX car but it was red and white when I bought it. We have had discussions about what colour to give it when it will be repainted (hopefully soon!) but we decided to stick with the non-original red and white.

Ron,
caught me! You’re right. But after all what does it matter. The most combinations are very, very beautiful. XX or not, I think red and white is very beautiful and gives the car some extra power (in appearance). In the first time after repainting my car I regretted that I chose this color but after a while I liked it again. Well, it’s a matter of taste…….

I ddin't get to see the car.. Richanrd had a blue version, as seen in some automobile books, but it came up for and sold on Ebay some years ago.
I gather that the one just seen was white on white..( I think I have an XX ID tag somewhere). I gues he could have owned more than one..

My sysadmin was able to rig up an entry to the actual web host in our DNS (domain name server), so I can access the site from work. But it's no longer published worldwide... And I get bounces on the email to the same domain too. I inquired of the webmaster, and this is the reply I got:

Hi Dan,
There has been a change in personnel at Mr. Carpenter's office. I am no longer managing the website.
Sorry, but I can't explain the problem with the emails.
Have a great day,
Becky
Ooh! Intrigue...

End of story... I guess

Well, apparently the first email I sent -- before the website went south -- went through. Here's the reply:

Dan,
Thank you so much for writing. Great website. Richard enjoyed his visit. He loves to look at cars.
As far as sharing or linking I am afraid we cannot accommodate. Please feel free to recommend our site, but we have a policy when it comes to such requests.
I hope you understand.

Well, I don't
