Life on hold

Well, Faulkner's sitting in a transmission shop, no longer awaiting parts (I hope). With any luck, I'll get him back this week...
...and my building permit is sitting in Licenses and Inspections, along with the garage plans, awaiting approval. 4-5 weeks before I hear... (*sigh*). I guess my "car life" is kinda on hold right now.
But in 9 days, Marie and I will be winging our way to the Netherlands, to once again join the Keij family -- this time, including Chrissie (and a still unnamed '59 Fury)! We can't wait!
Meanwhile -- today's the day Marie has me plugging bushes into the community garden. I think we've dug up all the sewing machines and shopping carts, but no doubt I'll hit a brick or two. Life's not all about cars, doncha know!
