59 Sport Fury with 24K original miles for Sale

Post by schuster »

My brothers and I are selling my dad's '59 Sport Fury Convertible. He was the second owner. It was originally restored in 1980 after my dad bought the vehicle from the first owner. The car was in storage for 20 years after the first owner hit the left front fender in an accident and didn't have time to repair it.

The car is all original with 24k miles. Nothing has been done to the original drive train aside from maintenance like oil changes, carburetor tune-up, etc. It has a push button automatic transmission, swivel seats and lots of other options.

Unfortunately, my dad passed away 15 years ago and the car has been in storage since. We are finally ready to sell the car to someone who will enjoy the vehicle as much as he did.

The car is in excellent condition. We have pictures of the vehicle that we can share that show normal wear-and-tear from storage. For example, there are minor tears in the vinyl upholstery on the driver's side, a paint chip on the trunk, etc.

If you are interested in the vehicle, please post a message and we can talk. We are posting on this site because we think that the car will find its way to someone who will really love it. Thanks.

Wow -- great story, and a thoughtful approach to your dad's memory. I'm sure folks would like to see pix. Please post them here, or if you prefer, you can email them to me and I'd be happy to post for you.
