Hi Matty, I believe there's a tiny set screw in the knob itself that permits the removal of the knob (with an allen key); then you remove the bezel by turning it counterclockwise, and slide the assembly out from under the dash. But I'm speaking from memory! I could be wrong about the details.

I know that Stefan installed a relay in his car, that the headlight switch controls -- the headlight current goes through the relay, not the switch, and saves the wear and tear on the switch contacts. There might be a post in this forum somewhere about it.

So, we've seen your Belvy on eBay -- do you intend to keep it, then?

i think on our fury there is a button that you push that has a spring under it. this releases the shaft, the shaft with the headlight knob then pulls out from the front. i found out how this works after i destroyed the shaft part, if anyone has an extra let me know. the actual switch box has a collar that you have to undo from under the dash. for reinstallation the shaft pushes back in from the front.
