trunk simulated spare

Post by Fins59 »

Ebay item no. 4627295544 - isn't the center gold trim peice supposed to have the Mayflower embossed on it? I don't see one. Maybe thats for a '60 and won't conform to a '59 trunk lid. ??

You are correct, the Mayflower should be there, strange it's not, I won one on e-bay the other day and it has the Mayflower.

okay, I just went out to the car..and I now see that the Mayflower Ship is indeed part of the gold-anodized insert..it is located beneath the "Y" shape. That Mayflower is missing on the Ebay Item...
My guess is it is a 1960 Plymouth housing...but I really have no proof
