Hi,
this is my first post.
I have a '59 Plymouth Belvedere Limousine.
There was a number of these cars exported to Antwerp, Belguim in '59 ansd stretched into 7 seater limousines.
My car is flathead 6 with 3 speed manual.
It is also right hand drive.
My car was sent from Belguim to Ireland CKD (completley knocked down) as it was cheaper to import and assembled here in Dublin.
The car has been in Ireland from new.
The model is a Belvedere but it has some Fury trim and a '57 Dodge dash.
The export cars really were mix and match!

Hi,
First of all I'd like to welcome you to the forum!
I (we) would love to see some pictures of your car, is it a limo with shaved fins? Just last week I met a very nice guy from Belgium who is restoring a 59 limo. His car had no fins, but since I had a pair of fins that were going to be used as a decoration I decided to let him have them for his car.
If you have trouble posting pictures you can email them to rkeij@chello.nl and I will do it for you.

Decoding the VIN shouldn't be a problem, when you email the pictures you can include the VIN and I will decode it for you.
When you email the pics try to keep the emails smaller than 2MB otherwise my provider will bounce your message. If you attach one or two pictures in a message it won't be a problem.

Well! This is certainly an old thread - and, I had forgotten all about it. But it's time to update it!

Hi Kevin,
I saw your letter in the Plymouth Bulletin. A '59 Plymouth limo - cool! Can you share pix? Better yet - please join the '59 Forum and post them yourself!

Hi Dan!
Please forgive the lateness of my reply.
I didnt realise I had a letter in the Plymouth Bulletin!
My Plymouth is kept at my place in the country so I only use it a couple of times a year.
I have a few people asking me about taking some decent pictures of it and I am planning to do that in a couple of weeks as there is an event on that I want to take the car to.
I am actually already a member of the '59 forum but I have not posted anything in six years!
I have attached a pic that I took a few years ago, it isnt a good photo because the car is filthy dirty!
Best regards,
Kevin.

Beautifull Car/limo..... I want it! Well if it was in the states I would want it but looks good in the Emerald Isle too! Congrats on having a unique 59 model.
What county do you live in? My family is from the North, County Tyrone, well least they were back in 1865 when they departed to NYC.
Looking forward to seeing some more pics in the future!
