Thinking about getting an original type Mopar scripted battery (the type with the colored caps) for my Sport Fury. Can anybody save me some searching and researching time and give me some info on what is correct and a good place to buy one. Recently forked out big bucks for wide whites so a few bucks for a battery shouldn't hurt that much. Thanks, John Z

I saw a pic of a 1957 Plymouth with the original Mopar battery in it. I will try to find that pic for you.
I saw that you have some 59 parts cars. Can you mail me pics of them?

Was talking to a guy at a car show the other day. He had a vintage looking battery in his Cuda. He got it from New Castle. Going to check them out. He paid $160 for his battery. Man, this is an expensive hobby, isn't it? But, if you're a fin-atic, you're hooked. Matthew, I have one four door 59 Fury Plymouth parts car. I have it stored in one of those vinyl top shelters. My wife cleaned out basement and piled a bunch of HER stuff around and on top of car so I'll have to straighten that out. Paid $200 for that parts car and it was/is a gold mine.

They are also selling Optima batteries (excellent long-lifebattery) hiden inside authentic Mopar tartop battery cases. Maybe TRom Fox would know where to buy one of these (I saw them at the Portland Oregon Swap Meet)

Two possible sources..Antique Auto Battery and Restoration Auto Battery...both in Ohio. TAAB has a website. No prices listed.
I do not know where to get the empty Mopar cases or the snap-on tops.
