Rebuilt 318 poly, 2,000 miles air cleaners to oil pan
Ok... This may seem weird, but I am having no luck selling my car, and I really want a 57 dodge that I know where it is for sale... So.... Here is what I am going to do... I have a good late model 318 sitting on my shop floor. If I can swing this, I will install it in my car, and I am offering the following:
One rebuilt poly 318. Heads are all new. Springs, valves, hardened seats, intake and exhaust, magnafluxed. Big cam, new lifters, new rings, bearings, timing chain, water pump, distributor, 2-4 intake, 2 edelbrock 500 carbs, Edelbrock progressive linkage, modified linkage rod that you will need, plugs, wires, exhaust manifolds, polished aluminum valve covers, spare block, spare cam, spare oil pan, spare timing cover, spare heads, spare rods.
All this for $2500 or a suitable trade of a project vehicle. I am looking at a 57 dodge, but if I don't sell this engine, I would like to trade it for my next project. The 318 LA I have I figure I can put in for maybe 200 bucks, and I don't care if it doesn't run perfect, as I want my next project, and I can't seem to sell my car. So.. i need to get a project, and this is how I propose doing it. Any takers?
