Floor undercoating

I spent all day Saturday scraping the goo that was on the floor of my '59 SF body that I will be using, and it appeared that I only had a few small rust issues to deal with. After scraping a bit of this stuff off, I found rust starting under areas of this coating that were not visible prior. So be sure to remove all this old coating before prepping your floors and trunk, or rust may come back to haunt you. This coating was used by Chrysler for quite a few years, I have found.---John

I cleaned my floor a couple years ago and then put a couple of coats of POR 15 on it. I have great faith in that stuff.

Yep, that POR15 sure does work well. We use a similar product on the floors of our tractors called Over Rust, and it also works good.---John
