What's with that Savoy side trim?? Was that an option?? Never saw that

I saw that one. I always thought that it was some sort of shade. Never knew it was a part of the side trim. Must be rare?

Wasn't that one of Plymouth's so-called Spring Special cars, with the extra side trim? Chrysler did that in 1957-58 with the low-line Plaza series, and it wouldn't suprise me that this effort continued into 1959. A little more chrome and a slightly spruced-up interior was the standard promotional tool for selling a few more entry-level series cars during the middle of the model year.
