Apologies for Forum issues

If you've tried to post - or, reply to a post - but have been getting a dreaded "500" error, it's related to a file caching issue on the server. I know now how to cause it (although I don't know for sure what's happening on the server), and when it occurs, I know what steps to take to fix it. So I'm not going to make any more changes to the '59 Forum, until I do some more experimenting and poking around on my test board.
Sorry for any inconvenience. And if you haven't even noticed... Well then, carry on!

(*Sigh*...) After hours on the phone with my hosting provider, they still can't tell me why this issue is happening. It doesn't affect the normal user, as long as I take steps to remediate after I make any changes - but that simply won't do. I shouldn't have to take these steps.
Some of you may recall that back in 2009, the website got hacked while I was in Thailand! We were down for a while until I straightened things out. The service provider I had then did not take the appropriate steps to maintain their software, and hackers exploited a security loophole - this, despite my repeated pleas with them to update their software. So, I packed up and moved the site to another hosting provider.
It looks like its time to do it again. It should be transparent to you - the domain name 59plymouth.net will move along with it - but it's a very painful maneuver for me. Most painful, is that it distracts me from making a number of improvements I was hoping to achieve. But they will just have to wait until we are on a new, and hopefully much better server.
Thanks for hanging in there...

Well, it wasn't too painful after all! My service provider recognized the issue, moved the site to another server, and the domain name along with it. The new server address for 59plymouth.net has already propagated around the world. We're on a new server now! And for me, back to the business of making refinements and adding new content.
Thanks for hanging in there!
