Bill isn't strictly a MoPar owner. But this is one clean '59 Sport Fury -- so we can forgive him for that!
The Sport Fury is my wife's car, I just get to work on it! When we got married back in 1960, she had a white Fury and I had a 57 Olds super 88 with J-2 option. Both of those cars are long gone, traded for more kid friendly grown-up cars.When the present Sport Fury became available we decided to restore it and maybe relive our misspent youth, and this time do it right. She hung in there with me throughout the restoration, including the engine & trans rebuild and did more than her share of the dirty work.It came out so well that when the Olds became available, we decided to restore it as well. The SF is pretty much original, but I had to mess with the Olds...a 455/400 w/ tripower seemed like the thing to do, so we did. Now we have clones of the cars that we had back in the day, only better.
