Carlisle 2015 Roll Call

Post by Faulkner »

We're closing in on five weeks until Carlisle, folks - time for the Roll Call:

Expected:
Mark Evans and his Sport Fury convertible
Tom Fox and his Belvedere convertible
John Fowlie and his... Chrysler product! (fingers crossed!)
Ron, Matthew, Dan and Faulkner

Hopefuls:
Larry (WDJ40)
John Quinn?

Then, there's a bunch of folks I need to check in with, to see if they can make it:
Curt Lambdin
Bernie Brouillet
Jim Rawa
Gino Gentile
Jim Hamsher
Earl Hess
Mark Coudriet
Steve Storey
Ken Morton
Dieter Bauer
John and David Wilson

Am I missing anyone? Time for me to start beating the bushes!

Due to my Father being in a re-hab facility relating to a post skin cancer operation fall at his House April 25th (found him on the floor 13 hours later) I will not be able to attend, I hope to get him out of the facility some time in the next 3 weeks.

He will most likely be released to my house first and then hopefully to to his house. It's been a long ordeal since the original surgery on April 10th. There is just no way I can leave and put looking after him to my wife.

Dad is doing better strength wise but will have to use a walker from this point on, My father turns 87 on June 4th and is a retired Chrysler Engineer (32 years, started in 1959)

Hope all understand that if I could I would be there..Take lots of Pic's!

Thanks!

Wow, John, that's a tough row to hoe. Best of luck to your Dad, and a speedy recuperation. He's lucky to have a son like you.

You will be missed. Next year!

Dan,

Just read your announcement for a Roll call. Yes I am planning to be at this years 2015 Carlisle. I am not bringing my 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury to show on the field. I am looking forward to this exciting event and I plan on attending as many of the wonderful events that they have planned!

An update: Ken Morton will be there, and so will Forward Look Frank - Steve Storey will not be able to make it. Jim Hamsher will be there:
Jim Hamsher wrote:Dan, we'll be there. We'll have a 59 2 dr hardtop, copper colored but in the car corall for sale.

Time to start downsizing I think. I'm also going to be advertizing another convertible I have

and pictures of lots of parts to try to move some of that stuff. Mostly clearout and get rid of prices
I've asked Jim to send me pix to post here - if folks are going to Carlisle, both he and you can save the hassle of shipping.

Waiting to hear from the rest of the folks.

...and Earl Hess will be there! Not sure if he's bringing just one or both cars, though.

Here's the list of folks I haven't heard from yet:

Curt Lambdin
Bernie Brouillet
Gino Gentile
Mark Coudriet
Dieter Bauer
John and David Wilson

I'll keep trying. Anyone else I'm missing?

Dan,

"Thinking about going" is the best I can say right now.

Only 400 miles away so that's not an excuse considering how far others are travelling.

I know some folks from my area going who are not into '59's but maybe I can send a greeting via them in case I don't show.

Thanks for putting people on notice!
