Post by Dickjwa »

I have a 59 Plymouth Suburban and want to fix the cardboard headlining. It is not torn but just falling down and I want to know the best way to fix it if this original stuff can be fixed .
thank you.

Dick, here's a link to Dick Skinner's webpage, with some photos and description of how he replaced his Suburban headliner:

I was able to remove all of the headliner and without breaking anything like clips or the cardboard itself and now ready to repair the panels. Do you know if Dick Skinner had any pictures of the plywood strips that he glued to the panels ? It would be nice to see how he did that part.

Thank you.

Dick,

Dick Skinner's username is "dick skinner". If you look him up using the "Members" link in the upper right hand corner and click his link, you'll get this:

I'm not sure if his email address is still current, but try using the link to send him an email. If he doesn't reply, let me know - I might have a cell phone number for him somewhere...
