Subject: Auction of 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible...
Date: Sun, 30 Mar 2014 04:38:26
Mr. Roger Van Hoy,
Our 1959 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible will be sold at auction on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The restorer began a body-off restoration in 2006. The frame was powder coated and the body mounted on it. However, no work has been done to complete the restoration within the past three years. The partial restoration and all parts will be sold through auction by John McGrellis (McGrellis Auction) of Hockessin, Delaware. The engine, carburetor, transmission and rear have been rebuilt. Please add this notice to Forward Look at your convenience. Further information will be available at the McGrellis Auction website.
Thank you,
Barry Beck
A little tidbit: The 318 engine he had rebuilt came out of Faulkner when I had it replaced.Barry Beck wrote:From: Kathy_Barry Beck

Subject: Your '59 Sport Fury...
Dan,
I have no photos of the '59 Sport Fury in its current condition. My wife will take photos as soon as the restorer permits her to do so. This is an unfortunate matter, and a costly one as well. We turned the car over to him in 2006 for the body-off restorations, hoping to have fabulous convertible upon its completion. When the photos are available, I'll forwarded them to your email address.
Thank you,
Barry Beck
