Sunday Nov. 10 - After the shop with a cop show on Saturday I could have gone to the Gander Mountain Show about two miles from my house (usually 100 cars or so) but diden't go because it was rainey and I wanted to go the this show Sunday. Mike Scott is a local car guy fixture, pin striper, ( his nickname is STRIPER), and artist. He has had a led sled 50 Murcury for years. His dad bought a 59 Ply when he was a kid and let him customize it. When he moved to Florida later in life he bought another 59 Ply. 4 dr. Belvedere and customized it the same as the first one and named it WHITE ICE. That car was my parts car. He also had a 47 Plymouth Coupe and a 58 Belvedere 2 dr. hardtop. He took the 318 out of White Ice and put it in the 58 then another local took the 318 out of the 58 and put a 350 Chevy in it. I ended up buying the 318 and that's whats is in my Convertible. This is a very popular show, Mike does it annually and draws around 200 cars. The weather was very nice all day. I have had Greenie and Charleen at this show in the past but never won a trophy BUT this year Charleen won DA DAAAA, BEST MOPAR. I was shocked and very pleased all at the same time. Our gang will be going to ABACOA tonight if it does'nt rain.
