I've noticed a bunch of 50Aplasma cutter/TIG/stick DC 40 lb. $400 range Chinese welders on ebay . Does anyone know anything about these. I guess they must be too good to be true??? From what I can see aluminim welding is out, but if they work otherwise maybe worthwhile???

I would bite on it for the Plasma cutter part. The Plasma cutter makes quick work in cutting of damaged sheet metal.

I finally wound up ordering a Lotos ac/dc tig and arc and a separate plasma cutter. There were actually too many to choose from - but hopfully made a rational decision! Probably should have gotten this 20-30 years ago.

Steve," ... should have gotten this 20-30 years ago." That is what I keep saying about my lift! After two back surgeries last year now I really am appreciative of the 4 post car lift!
