Steering Wheel Signal Light Switch Install, extra part?
I am installing my Steering Wheel and Signal Light Switch.
I Purchased a new operating arm PN # 2084288 and it came with a part I do not know where to install.
It is a Copper or brass spring 3/4 " long and 3/16" wide, See Photo
Does anybody know where this pc. goes ?
Thanks Mark

Mark - Good question, I haven't the faintest idea where it goes, I've always wondered that myself, I just leave it out, everything still works OK.

My idea for the solution of the extra part
After further study I came up for the spot for the extra part. It seems to work OK.
See the Photo, It fits in a cavity on the back side

Yup, I think you found the right spot. It provides some friction/resistance, and a "detent" locating feel, if I recall correctly, similar to the door "check" mechanism.
