59 Wins Trophy
Have to tell everybody (before excitement wears off) my 59 won a 2nd place trophy at a car show two weeks ago. A '62 chev took lst and a 58 chev took 3rd so I guess you can say my 59 was the meat in the sandwich. There were 416 cars there and my classs was 58-63. First trophy, so it was special. Also, at the Iola Car Show in July I got to display my 59 in the special exhibit tent so its been a good summer. Just before Iola a friend and I repaired the rocker panel just behind drivers door with new metal and repainted lower section of car and put on a pair of fender skirts so shes lookin sharp. John Z
