radiator part number

Post by Ken Jacob »

Hi all,

I need the correct number on top of the radiator for the1959 Plymouth 361 cu. in. engine. I expect the 318 cu. in. number to be different. Is the radiator the same from the '58 Plymouth 350 engine? Perhaps there is a place on this site that would answer these questions but I don't know where to start to look. Thanks much.

Ken, according to the 59 master parts catalog it shows the following for a MP2 Fury with assuming with a 361RB motor. page 7-4

1832 691 with 3 speed auto(Cast Iron TF) or Power Flite (2 speed)
1832 298 High capacity version

1832 691 w/o AC
1902 897 w/AC

They also show below on the same page the MP2 (no Fury suffix) as having the following PN's (assume it is for the 318 Poly motor)

1832 672 with 3 speed auto(Cast Iron TF) or Power Flite (2 speed)
1832 693 High Capacity

1832 672 w/o AC
1832 693 w/AC

Hope this helps!

The Master parts catalog has not been copied yet but we do have the 57-58 main Plymouth service manual copied and the 59 Plymouth supplement copied on the Forum at the following link: https://59plymouth.net/59gallery/index.php?cat=40
