Mopar Drags.

Post by ubbermotor »

Took the beast to the Mopar Drag at Firebird Drag Strip. Not to race, it would never pass inspection unless I added seat belts and a over flow jug. That and I haven't gotten the seals in the transmission and differential replaced yet. Entered the show and won "Best work in Progress". More surprising was how much attention a primer sedan got surrounded by near perfect muscle cars.

Spent most of the time watching the races but I did take this shot just before leaving.

Bobby Scroggins owns the '58 with the 440. He is a great guy too, pushing 70 and still racing!
