Badly needed: Fan Belt for the cvt

Post by Ron Keij »

Hi All,

Sunday I took my chance to drive the convertible as Matthew wasn't home. Marjo and I had a great afternoon 8) until the fan belt broke  Matthew tried to find a replacement here in the Netherlands but there is nothing available for real cars :o

Can anyone get me a replacement fast? We need a GATES 7673 V-Belt/Fan Belt, there are some on Ebay but I want it here as fast as possible. If anyone can get me one and send it to the Netherlands right away we would be very happy! Of course all costs will be paid for with a little extra!

You can contact me through PM and email if you can help us out. If there are no offers I will buy one on Ebay tomorrow and ask Dan to forward it to me.

Thanks in advance!
Ron

Ron, I would but am in Minnesota this week til lThursday and then I will be in California till next Monday, so if no one can grab this belt or its equivalent for you, I will when I get back to Colorado.

Maybe we should get a bunch of belts for you as replacements just in case...

I did buy a belt on Ebay and hope Dan will have the time to forward it to me as I couldn't find any sellers willing to ship it directly to The Netherlands

@John, you are full of good ideas! Too bad they only surface about once a year  I will take your advice and make a list of the other belts we have and take home some spare belts this summer! Have a safe and enjoyable trip throughout your continent!

Arrived today, Ron, in the box on the left ( > 79" circumference). Both belts go to the PO tomorrow, in the box on the right...
