Thanks... and Farewell

Post by Faulkner »

Folks,

We've had a great run at https://59plymouth.net. But, time marches on! I found a really sweetheart deal on a '64 Ford Fairlane that is absolutely immaculate:

I just couldn't pass it up. This afternoon, I sold Faulkner, it's off to a new home in New Brunswick, Canada. I imagine you'll be hearing from the new owner in a couple of days...

I want to thank all the friends I've met on this website for all the advice I've received over the years, and for your friendship. I couldn't have done it without you!

The subscription on the website expires at the end of April - I hope I can find someone within the membership to pick up management, and responsibility. I'll be joining up with fellow Fairlane owners on their website.

Thanks again! It's been a great ride.

Wow, thanks for everyting Dan over the years you but into the website. I guess we better find another web site to join with your departure and everything..(.Boy the trees sure sprouted early this year in Philly.... or ...could it be....April Fools eve....?)

Plus Dan, I just found the original 59 Pymouth Pilot car here in the Denver Area...Serial number M253100001, Of course it is a Belvedere Convertible.. It has a rare Fuel injected 361 motor in it. I guess Chrysler tried one more time after the 58 models issues with Fuel injection.

I bought it for $200 bucks.... Do you want it? Let me know as soon as possible because I was going to part it out and crush the rest this weekend, Probably tomorrow on 4-1-11 berfore the Rockies home opener.. :P Do you think it is worth much?

Call soon..

dan,
its so sad to see you go, leaving your creation behind. I didn't even have a chance to share my good fortune with you. i needed to engage a good lawyer to handle the lottery winnings...

Damn Dan - It saddens my heart, BUT since you have joined the Ford crowd I have a 63 Galaxie 500XL Convertible for sale. $20K for you $18K.
Seriously,
Dick.

Seriously - that is one sweet ride, Dick, for even $20K. Hang on to it!

...and I'm hanging on to Faulkner. At the last minute, I backed it off the truck and gave up on the FoMoCo. I'd be a "Fool" to ever part with it.

Welcome, Spring!

Okay, Dan asked me to look for a new manager/owner for this site, and I have found one...
The new manager is a bit of a hard-ass, however, due to the cost of running such a site, so we will all need to submit applications with a brief explanation of why we should be included.
Then again, don't believe everything you read on Fox News, or from me
