Test of the emergency backup system

Sorry for last night's brownout, folks. It gave me the... er, opportunity to test my backups. And they worked!
I had installed a "Content Management System" that I had hoped would unite the Forum and the Gallery. Alas, the software has its share of problems - and as it turns out, is no longer supported. I tried to back it out, but it clubbed the database and the software.
I did a backup of the database immediately before installing the software, so restoring that was easy. However, the software was seriously damaged. I had to go to my home backup to restore it. And it worked!
It appears that everything is fine. Please let me know if you determine otherwise.
