John Q. & John F. - This is quite interesting. I quess I was right when I speculated the Belvedere was rarer than the Sport Fury.

From Old Cars Price Quide April 2010.

Condition: 6 5 4 3 2 1

Sport FurY: 1,840 5,520 9,200 20,700 32,200 46,000
Belvedere: 2,740 8,220 13,700 30,830 47,950 68,500

How bout dat!
Dick.

Before you guys go out of control on this, it was pointed out to me by a fellow list member (who can remain nameless if he chooses :? ), the Price Guide is necessarily based on recent sales of vehicles. Two or three Belvederes have crossed the Barrett- Jackson auction and have scored huge sales prices, while in the same space of time no Sport Furys have been seen; these sales tipped the scales making Belvederes appear more valuable than Sport Furys.
Sport Furys came standard with various features which could be added to Belvederes, making the two models more or less equivalent in the final analysis. Only the interior fabrics and the exterior stainless trim differentiate the two..

That was great review Roger! My car did have a lot of options on it that was standared for the SF.

Very little difference is correct. :P

Dick,

Check out this item on Ebay, fairly close to you. Like Roger explained there is not much difference betwen the Sport Fury and the Belvedere, I know you have the fabric for a SF and now you can have all the trim too http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_W0QQcmd ... MEWAXQ3aIT

Ron

PS John, if he falls for this your car will be even more desirable as it is one of the very few Belvy's

I already have most of that stuff, but I'm opting for the Belveder trim. Besides Tom, John and myself will be in a unique group.

Dick, Love you Man! You can always tell a Belvy man....Just not much since their gums are a flappin"!

But then again, you have two SF's HT's too...But when it comes to Converts...A Belvy trim does it!

Well thanks...I am so far from Tom's car. I am already planning a repaint in a year or two with all the little mini-dents and wrinkles I see.
I wanted a Cruising car and I have that but after all the time I spent on it, I should have done a better job on the body work and paint. But at least it is almost done.

I have seen the work you do Dick and maybe I should send this car to you for the finishing work!
