John Q. & John F. - This is quite interesting. I quess I was right when I speculated the Belvedere was rarer than the Sport Fury.
From Old Cars Price Quide April 2010.
Condition: 6 5 4 3 2 1
Sport FurY: 1,840 5,520 9,200 20,700 32,200 46,000
Belvedere: 2,740 8,220 13,700 30,830 47,950 68,500
How bout dat!

Dick, I have been saying this all along...no one listens....All of the SF people should be tearing off the SF trim and going Belvedere trim.

Here's the real question: Can you turn a #6 Belvy vert into a #1 Belvy vert, for less than $65,710...

I believe so, If you have a parts car, a stash of stuff accumulated from ebay over the years, a personal salvage yard in california, lots of personal labor, drive, a place to do it, and encouragement from fellow 59'ers.
This hopefully will be a #2 Belvie. I plan on driving this sucka.

Pretty much nailed it Dick, Double the dash pad cost, it is $600 now, Double Gary Goers. I spent a grand already and need to spend at least $600 more with him.
Great that you can do the body work and the paint part. That will save a lot dinero's!
You forgot the airfair for flying all the Forum convert owners in for a look see and an approving eye and nod on your progress!!
Ok, maybe we will come in via Greyhound instead!

Chill the adult beverages and Diet Pepsi's!

Most of my resto is in the "O.S. Fund". I wanted a quick Sonic drive-in model but once you get going on our cars you just keep improving and improving.....

Now we feel discriminated because we don't believe you will drive your car to the Netherlands

But you are forgiven if you show up at Carlisle this summer

Whaaaattttt? I am memorable? Or is soon to be an meeting me event that is un-forgetable?
One that you wish had never occured? Hmmm... My bride of the last 25 years says the same thing! (..She said she should never had gone on the blind date the night she met me! That these things never work out...) We will see!
I am always good for a laugh! And I hardly get lost anymore at car shows. And I always know where the rest rooms are at...

Hey you Belvy guys, another Belvedere convertible showed up
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1824
Going at this rate there will be far more Belvedere's than Sport Fury's within a year

There goes the price of your precious investments
