Hello, my name is Jeff Campagna and I am a film maker from Toronto, Canada. I am filming a prequel to the movie Dog Day Afternoon and I need to purchase a replica of the car in the movie. I can see you are very passionate about Plymouth Furys and I have a question for you considering your expertise.
I have attached a picture from the movie of what I believe to be a Plymouth Fury from perhaps 1970. If possible could you please clarify the make and model. Thank you very much for your time.
I didn't see the original movie, but please don't wreck the car. I'm getting tired of seeing nice old iron wrecked or destroyed in movies. For some reason there are still a few movie producers out there who thing its a great thing to destroy the old stuff. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Once their gone their GONE! You can destroy all the new stuff you want if you are so inclined to do a crash fest like the original Gone in 60.
Anyhow enough of that, to be very close to the Dodge Coronet, you could also use a 4-dr '68-'69 Plymouth Belvedere. They look very very similar. Either are B-body models though and the Fury, Monaco, Polara were C-body cars.

I know what you mean. Yesterday i saw an old episode of some soap. They drove a 58 Plymouth Fury of a cliff!!! It hurts to see someone doing that
