Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Ron and Marjo are here celebrating with me and Emily. Wherever you are - I hope you are surrounded by family and friends. I am thankful today for all of you, my far flung "Fifty-Nine" friends.

Wow! neat banner/poster! Is that the Canadian version with the "Lively Lovely.." verbiage?
WIll look good in the Keij's garage or at a show. (or even in my garage!)
Note to self.... Take this picture to local banner shop to duplicate for my display needs...

That is a neat banner!!
I spent Thanksgiving day with my wife, sister in law, and a friend that didn't have anywhere to go for the holiday. I cooked the turkey starting at ten in the morning, in an old roaster. Must say the dinner was wonderful!!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
John, you are so old school with that ancient roaster! But that is the way you roll on many things (cars etc.) This year we did the hot peanut oil dunk in an electric Butterball frier and it was done in 45 mins. Very moist.
Though... your methods bring back fond memories of doing it the tried and true turkey bake way. But the hot oil method sure saved my wife from spending all day with peeking in the roaster or oven and never knowing if it will be done on time or not. But now the hot peanut oil method is my responsibilty and she ("The one who must be obeyed") gets to watch the Detroit Lions lose yet again on Turkey day!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
