sport Fury convertible

Post by rogerh »

I am preparing to put my car up for sale. I am working to get an official appraisal in the next few weeks. I have a figure in mind, but I will wait for an official appraisal.
The last year or two have been rough on me, and I've come to realise that

I'm sorry to see that you are having to sell your car, Roger, but a man has to do what a man has to do.

As nice as your car is, you should be able to sell it quite easily. Good luck in the sale, and hope things improve for you.

Bummer Roger! Now I know what was meant on the other thread about a new edition to a members car family...

You have and will be a big help on getting my car done,. Sorry to see this happen but understand why.

Wow Roger, that was fast, I'm really sad for you, I know the labor of love you had in that car but I understand your circumstances. I pray things start to look up for you and someday all the knowledge and expertise about 59 Ply's you have can be used again in another project. Meanwhile please don't abandon us less knowledgeable out here. You have made things a lot easier for us. I know change it tough but everytime things changed for me things got better. You just have to walk through it. Wishing you the best.
Your friend,
Dick.

Thanks, everybody. I'm glad it all happened quickly.
I knew how much Ron, Marjo and Matthew love this car. It showed in their eyes.
The three of them visited me a few years ago and got to drive it a bit..at that time Ron said..."if ever you want to sell...", so it feels good that they will bring it into their lives. My 13-yr old daughter is sad to see it go..she said she wanted to drive it one day. I guess I will have to take her on a trip to the Netherlands!
As for me, something will come up eventually.
