Well Dan, i take it you must not be a hockey fan as you've never mentioned the Flyers unlikely run to the Stanley Cup finals, starting this Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks, one thing is for sure,a long championship drought will end for someone, the Flyers havent won since 1975, the Hawks not since 1961!

Bob, Don't get Dan all riled up! He is saving most of his "Hoo Rah!" for when the Phillies are back in the World Series and then we will hear from him every half hour or so!!
The Fliers are just the opening band to him!

lol well i wasnt sure, id never seen anything from him regarding hockey, so i wasnt sure if he was a fan.
Maybe now is a good time to mention that the last time the Flyers went to to finals, they were swept by the Detroit Red Wings, who just happen to be my team!
Yes i know i live in Toronto, but the Red Wings have been my team since i was a kid!

Bob, SInce I grew up in the Detroit area in the 60's and 70's I understand. Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsey Alex Delvechio.... The immortal Detroit "Production Line". Though I alwas liked Toronto's simple Blue and White sweaters.
Been converted to the Avalanche though living out here in Denver...But still like Detroit as long as they are not playing the Avs!
Dan just likes anything to do with Philidelphia! He still sings American Bandstand songs and his Mentor is Dick Clark!
Did Soul Train originate from Philly?

Actually, my new mentor is Donny Farmer (my long lost cousin), who had a couple hit records in the fifties and
appeared on American Bandstand!

Geez, ill have to show Dan some websites on here he may like or may know about, I've always been a student of rock and roll radio and some of the great stations were WIBG and WIFL, both in Philly, maybe ill give Dan a thrill sometime and show him the site where Hy Lit and Joe Niagra do the final show on WIBG!
