Rhianna has a good day

Rhianna is my 12-yr old daughter. She lives with her mom, but visits me every other weekend. This past weekend, she wanted to go with me to look for some jeans at the Goodwill Thrift Store.
The first store we visited had nothing for her. The second store was much the same, however she spied a Coin Counter Jar for $2.99. It was in its original package..looked like it had never even been opened. So I bought it for her and we brought it and some other purchases home.
After about an hour of fooling with a microscope that was given her, she finally opened the Coin Counter jar box. The Jar was "as new", but what caught her eye was some sort of greeting card which had been dropped inside by the former owner.. She opened the card to find five crisp $20 bills! She was one happy girl!
She used this money to purchase a "used" iPodTouch from Craigslist. Since I made up the $30 difference, she gave me her old iPod Nano
So now I am trying to learn how to operate and iPod, tonight (and tomorrow night and the next....)!

Wow! Nice luck for your daughter to get a suprise like that! Hope you both enjoy your I-Pods (both old and new ones) :D

Wasn't here any NOS parts she could have picked up for you instead of the I-Pod?

My adult kids (when they were litllte) always you to take gift cards I won at work for sales contests, Whoosh! it was out of my hands in a heart beat. For a day they like me!

My wife took a $300 Best Buy card from me (two years ago) and bought a new TV for here quilting room before I knew it!

Next time I won't tell anyone if I score these cards!
