Mel Bohnenkamp dba Mopar Mel

Post by reed83 »

Has anybody heard of him or done any business with him? I would be interested to know. He holds himself out to be an expert in restoring Mopar's, but I have some issues with work he has done for me. He says that he sends quite a number of his restorations overseas.

Oh, I could write PAGES, but for one reason or another I don't want to go on permanent cyber-record. Over the years, at various websites, there has been much writing about his service, talents as body man, painter, parts supplier. He also offers re-manufactured parts (embossed headliner cardboard, "chromed" headliner retaining strips).
I will say that overseas buyers seem to be less concerned about "originality", etc, and seem to have deeper pockets than most.
