brake booster repair

Post by Fins59 »

I know this has been covered in past but now when I need info I can't find it. I have tear in my rubber bellows brake booster so I replaced it a couple years ago with a dual master cyl/brake booster from a '75 Plymouth Duster (bolted right in). Now I want to get engine compartment back to original look so will get booster repaired. Roger - didn't you have this done? Appreciate any leads on where to get this done. Thanks.

I had the bellows booster in my '57 Fury rebuilt by Karp's brake service in southern California. They have brand new rubber bellows for them. If I recall correctly, the overhaul price was around $300.

Hope this helps, John
