Oh Oh! This is the time of year I get an irresistible compulsion to get involved with another project. I may have to give in to my weakness!! Steve

good news from Matthew and Ron, and I can identify with Steve...the Spring Swap Meet in Portland Oregon happens in early April, and I am always tempted at this time of year to acquire a new project...I've been looking around the local streets, and in Hemmings Online, etc. Fortunately I haven't seen anything I HAD to buy!

I have been busy with hauling cars and trying to make room here, as well as getting the brakes on my wife's DeSoto working. Once this is done, I will start to clean the barn out to get back to the '59 Convertible work. ---John

Wo is me. So much to do and so little time what with car shows and working on cars all year long. It seems since I got my garage with lift that's all I do. It rained last night so I won't get any rest today. I put off finishing the red 59 SF, I figured since the 60 Desoto only needed a repaint I'd do that first. Well, it looks like that has turned into a full blown frame on restoration. I eventually ended up taking every last bit of Chrome and Stainless off, all 4 doors off, seats will come out, replacing worn and frayed carpet, hood and trunk lid will also come off. You guys need to stop complaining about the cold and wet winters you have. You'all get to cozy up in front of your fireplaces wrapped in your new blankie thing with the arm sleves sipping whiskey or whatever! while I'm down here in this hot air conditioned world. You know it's frustrating being retired and having to do all this stuff all the time. I only get to take a power nap every afternoon from 1 to 2 then its back to the drudgery I have to endure every day. So you will know what it takes I'm sending some pictures of the Desoto. By the way that Oster fan in the picture is the very first appliance my wife and I bought in 1960, still going strong. Wo is me.
Dick

Dear Mr. Koch:
It has recently come to our attention that you are engaging in cruel, unusual and tortuous reparte towards your fellow members. We respectfully request that you cease and desist from all such further actions. It's flipping cold up hear, doncha know.

Steve - Thanks for sending me the Oster site. I found out a lot of things I didn't know about my fan. It's strange how our minds work or don't work depending on the thought load. That car and fan are the same age. Duh!!!
Dick.

Here are some pics of the transport, the Fury is home now and second in line. First we will have to build up our Sport Fury again, I hope to have it back within two more weeks.
