A/C wiring, etc.
Roger, I'll start a new post here if thats ok. I think you have me mixed up with someone else. My car has always been in my home garage (it's sitting about 60' away from me) I wouldn't have it any other way (I'd miss her) I'm not too agile when it comes to under dash exploration but if you have questions fire away.
As a side note, somewhere on site I mentioned last summer that I had problems with heater/AC control. I could hear a vacuum leak. I discovered that 2 plastic connectors were broken off. I took control unit out of my parts car but that did not fit (I think mounting configuration was different) So I plugged vacuum hoses. I'll have to dig that part out again to refresh my memory. It seems now that the heat is on constantly. Hopefully we'll have a cool summer. There's probably a manual way to shut off heat maybe under hood or dash by heater box, I'll have to tinker with it.

Bummer John, that the nipples broke off. The factory a/c control is extremely rare, in my opinion, as are the pushbutton control boxes in general...what happens is the internal slider grease gets hard, lading to switch failure.
The ONLY person I know (and trust) who rebuilds these switches is Jeff Carter, here in Seattle. If you need his contact info, it is jcauto.com.
Now you have me wondering...if you are not the factory a/c person I corresponded with regarding a/c, I will need to go way back into my Email files (even into my old computer) to figure things out!
