Recently, Roland's Plymi figured prominently in Krick's (Christine Heitz) music video, "Fake Cake". I include here the Plymi snippets, but you can find the full music video here.

Roland was fortunate enough to acquire much of the original paperwork with the Belvedere, showing the original ownership by Sydney Shefler, who worked at the China Beach, California Naval Weapons Center. And then, a change in ownership just before Roland bought it:

And because of Roland's sleuthing, we know the reason why - Sydney died in '81 as the result of a head injury. Whether this was a work related injury or not, we do not know.
