Ron, your photos are spectacular! The view backward over a tailfin, showing two following Plymouths, the shot at Earl Hess' wooded drive, the convertible on the Carlisle lawn at dusk!
I am so glad the rain let up for the actual show (or so it would appear). I was here in WA State, watching the weather reports for the area. Great to see Curt was able to make it (and smiling as always!)
What report can you give on the swap meet offerings?

The photo credits are for Dan and Matthew too, I picked out the best pictures of all our pictures and resized them a little. And with cars like this everybody can make a great picture. When I get the video done you will be really seeing something, much more spectacular than the pictures.

Weather was great at the show, a little cooler would have been nice though. The swap meet was not much for us, I did not buy anything for my car and that goes for Dan and Matthew too. John bought some little bits and pieces for his convertible. I did get 3 old Australian magazines from Adriana for the help I had given her in finding and shipping tin cars and a Dutch brochure to her. The magazines are great and I will scan them soon to post the articles on the forum.

Curt had a rough time on Friday because of the heat but he had a great time on Saturday.

Is that a picture of John Quinn, seated on the motel sidewalk?
Is Jim Hamsher a "new" Listmember? (sorry, the name is not familiar to me at this moment)

Yes, that is me sitting against the wall of the Hotel. Probably pouting that Matthew would not share Earl's Convert SF. I was only the co-pilot with Capt. Matthew. Still it was a great thrill to have 3 59's blazing down the highway at 75 to 80 miles an hour. Dan at least let me drive his car and hair raising speeds as we darted in and out of traffic.

I did not know that these gems of ours can still be run at that speed still! :D

Lots of fun with Ron, Matthew and Dan that weekend. Meeting Curt and his bride, Earl Ness and Forward Look Frank was great too.
