On our way back to Earl to bring the convertible back home.

Earl's loooooong driveway, from Faulkner's perspective
...and from Earl's convertible

Seeing these movies makes me want to drive my car the 2800 miles to PA. to join you next year!
Nice job editing the movies, Ron, with the scene changes, etc.
Is there a way to enlarge the movies on my monitor?
(next time everybody needs to chat it up...need some Hello's or cheering!)
Earl has a VERY long driveway! :D
The marine layer has drifted in from the ocean...it is 64 degrees in my house this morning, July 18, guess I should count my blessings?

Makes me want to go to Carlisle next year too.
Roger - You can act as Wagon Master. You start out in WA state and proceed East. Other '59'ers can join you as you proceed 'cross country. Something on the lines of the Hot Rod Power Tour. I mapquested your route and they got you coming through Southern Wis. I can join the tour around the Madison, WI area.
I think it would be permissible for a guy to use their modern cars if they feel their old iron wouldn't make it.

sure, i could meet two Toms in Oregon, and John Fowlie and Tom Gerrard can meet up with us at Jeff's in Laramie, then pick up john Q in Denver, then collect the rest of you along the way! Someone w/ car trailer can go up to Boston and collect Bernie and his car, then there's Ed Eckerson, Barry in TN, and Craig in Peoria...(I am forgetting so many others)
If one or more were unable to drive their cars East, we'll have John Fowlie's airport limo all fixed up and ready to haul 16 more folks... :D
There was a guy years ago, put out a small publication called Penta Star, later Gold Star...he was a Californian and he had an airport limo needing resto. His dream was to fix it up and promote his magazine by driving that car. Sadly, he passed away, and the car fell off the radar. :(
