AK Fury of Forwardlook.net sent in this 1961 vintage photo of downtown Fairbanks, Alaska. Look for the 59 Plymouth on the center left, parked at the curb. Other Plymouths of note include the 1957-58 Plaza taxi in the center that appears to be spinning out, the 58 Suburban parked at center right, and a 55 Plymouth parked on the near right, just behind the 54 Mercury. If the harsh winters didn't get to these cars over time, the great Alaska Earthquake of 1964 (with the biggest Richter scale reading in history) probably did.
