Fury 4-door hardtop parts

Post by big m »

I picked this '59 Fury 4-door hardtop up Tuesday, haven't had a chance to unload it from the trailer as of yet, but the trunk floor, at least, is rust free. A Sport Fury will arrive here Monday, I have never seen it, so it may be a builder, or a parts car. Also, a 4-door sedan is due in from Fresno when it can be gotten out of it's storage area.

Hi Tim,

I pretty much bought the car sight-unseen, so to be honest, I won't know until it's delivered here Monday. I'll let you know when it's on premises.

John (Big M), I may be needing at least one 59 fender for sure (passenger) and maybe the drivers too, If I get the 59 4 door for sale on ebay here in Denver, One day more to go.I looked at the car on weds. and except for the fenders it's a keeper, motor does run but starter went out.

It was too good of a car to part out. I wanted it for the trunk floor but can't do it to a saveable car. I don't need a 4 door since I have not finished by convert yet...my son wants me to paint it red and make it a classic Fire Captain car 9he is a fireman) my wife wants a Yellow cab out of it like in Mad Mad Mad World.

Hi John Q,

Make the Ebay car red as a classic Fire Captain car and buy this one to make it a yellow cab for your wife. I know she'd appreciate the swivel seats and that way you can keep the convertible for yourself :D

Ron, Now you are "cooking with Diesel" That is a great idea!!! I just saw that I was outbid on this car! Boo!

This is at the same yard I took you and Marjo too last summer! Now they have a 59 there!

I will see what happens tomorrow, how much the other bidder wants it.

Sounds like your trip was a lot of fun for you guys. Now back to the grind!

did you get my PM on the trunk mat? It would have been on Marjo's sign in?

I don't want to hijack this thread anymore then we have done.

I will send you an email on Sunday.
