For 3 years I searched for my heater core for my 1959 Plymouth station wagon that I knew had been rebuilt and was in the house somewhere (I have an old 11 room plus a 2 story garage farm house). Gave up and bought one on epay and then had to have a new core - $200 for the finished product. Today (an additional 3 years later) I found it. Professionally rebuilt and in pristine condition. Will send it to someone for $150 plus shipping (about 10 pounds well packaged to prevent any damage). Guaranteed - I will even pay the return postage if it is not OK. PN 1885 826 for the factory installed version (which this one is) or PN 1885 856 (for the replacement? version).

Interested? Pictures available on request.

yes this would work in a 2 door, 4 door or wagon, Universal. This is the std heater core, There is a deluxe heater core that has its own similar but unique under hood fiberglass housing. Essentially it has a longer housing shield that blocks more of the open air plenum of the fiberglass housing and by doing that it puts out more heat.

I did this in my convertible as I do drive it occasionally in the winter. and just wanted more heat output.

I will dig up the link to my restoration to show people what I mean...

Here it is! viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1317&start=30

I will have to go out and check but my Fiberglass housing I believe is the Model 707 that is impressed on the Plenum box.
