Old picture

Hello all, i live in an area in Toronto called Scarborough, and recently on Facebook theres been 2 pages spring up, both dealing with old and current times in Scarborough, and today a pic was posted of a street scene in the early 60s of the area just down the street from where i live, thought you all may like the 59 Savoy 2 dr in the pic.
And by the way, other than stores come and gone, the street (Kingston Rd) still looks the same!

If you can, take a current picture of the same street from the same angle and location. They do this over at the Forward Look site with the old Photographs of Foward Look cars.

ps Wasn't there a Fair in Scarborough??

I'll do my best John, i live just down the street, maybe i can take one in the same location in the summer with my 59 Plymouth parked in the same spot!
Also, judging by the other cars in that pic and the license plates,(white numbers on black or blue) it was probably taken either in 1963 or 65.......
