Subject: Free Tank Straps
Dan and Dave, When I ordered my replacement gas tank straps from an Arizona junk yard, they sent me these (see picture). What I wanted was one wide, long strap for my station wagon, what I got was two narrow, short straps. Obviously, they then sent me a correct replacement, but did not want these back. I cannot guarantee that they are for a 1959 Plymouth sedan, etc., but it is highly likely. So I am offering them to one of the group members free, except for the cost of shipping (should be about 2 pounds shipping weight). They are in good shape with minimal rust and are about 24 inches long (not including the stud) by 1 1/4 inches wide.
