off to the upholsterer

Post by rogerh »

Hello,
I gave away my "child" today
well, it felt like that. My Plymouth cvt has not been away from home since I got it/created it ten years ago...now it is at an upholstery shop to get a top , well, boot, related weatherstripping, door panels and window whiskers, things that I simply can't find time to do myself.
It will be a process, and I aim to be breathing down their necks all the way
are you using the right style/size screws, etc...
sleepless in seattle until she comes back home,
roger

Roger, did they give you a time estimate?

I've got a box full of weatherstripping, cats whiskers, etc. from Andy Bernbaum. I've got no excuse now! Just some warmer weather and time off... But boy, wouldn't it be sweet for me to take Faulkner to the upholsterer and have somebody do it for me. (*sigh*)

weatherstripping a ht is easy

compared to a cvt, hardtops are easy to weatherstrip.
I will grant you that the cat whiskers are a tedious project, no matter the body style!
