Sorry to hear the news...I shoulda guessed it when you and I couldn't make a deal on the stainless door trim. I tried to broker the deal thru Dan, in case you didnt trust me.
Can you post any recent photos of the convertible (and wagon)?

Roger, you asked me if I had any pix. I found this on the forum:

https://59plymouth.net/59forum/viewtopi ... 3900#p3900

There may be more, I'm not sure. If you go to the upper right corner and click "Advanced Search", you have the option to search by author -- choose "ragtop" and you find numerous posts.

There is an easier way to find Ragtop's posts, click on his user name (under his avatar) and in the next screen just click on "search all user's posts". Hope this helps, I don't think he posted more pictures than the one Dan found.

Sorry to hear you are going out of business :(

Can you post some pictures and your asking price? Calling is difficult from Europe due to the time difference. If you don't want to post the price here you can also PM me or email me at ronkeij at zeelandnet.nl

Thanks,
Ron

I wonder if this list will ever hear back from Dan Wahlen (Ragtop)..he has been most difficult to contact when I tried to sell him a piece of stainless trim he wanted. I suspect an interested party would have to phone him directly (one would get a better idea of his personality that way) in order to get any further information on his cars. Dan W has a paint, body and upholstery shop in Colorado called the Muscle Car Cafe.

He already got the pictures to me so here are the pictures. He also let me know the price he is asking but since he didn't give a price here himself I won't put that price on the forum. He wants to sell the convertible and the Suburban as a package deal but the price is too high for me.

Thanks Ron. I will try to email you privately.
From the pix, I see rust-thru at the passenger floor track, also sill (ugh) and exterior.
As the cvt appears to be stripped out, I assume the picture of steering wheel is of the Suburban. Difficult to see condition of top bows and header. He says he has new windshield.
Dick Koch, are you looking into this one..you had said you wanted a convertible...

Browsing the web I found the convertible listed on Craigslist for a normal price http://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/909995432.html
Whoever is looking for a convertible project maybe this is your opportunity.

That's odd, ROn. The Craiglist car in Colorado Springs, is Ragtop's. Offered at $5600.
To see more pix, I clicked on the link, and was taken to Ebay, where the same car is pictured, so far with 9 bids, now up to $5600, WITH RESERVE NOT MET.
I was pretty sure Ragtop would not have lowered his initial asking price (the one you mailed me privately) without "trying for the moon" on Ebay..

It is odd, but the Craiglist post is just for the convertible. So it could be that the Suburban he offered me in the package deal is a $ 14.400 parts car

In that case, I should have kept my Suburban parts wagon!

OK guys,

You will get another chance, he relisted the car and this time without a reserve price on it. Starting at $ 10000.
