Anyone recognize the car or location

Post by savvy59 »

Just surfing around the web and copied this picture from another site.

Just curious if anyone knows the car or location?

I'd sure like to see the front end of this car, Curt. From the back, it looks like the "batmobile" (not Jeremy's; yet another. Hey, where the heck is Jeremy, anyway?! ) From a guy by the name of... Jerry Stottish? Hmmm... Don't have access to my email at the moment, I'll have to check. Anyway, it was a flat-black paint job, the closest '59 I've ever seen to this pic.

I am impressed at how you rememeber all these details. My memory is quite fragmented...with bits and pieces coming back to me at odd times. Like, for example, whatever happened to the preacher? in CA? who said he had an addiction to buying Plymouths and then driving them home...

Alex Lehr! Dunno... Haven't heard from him in a while. He was a preacher?! I know Chad Moir is a Lutheran Pastor, but he's sold the SF he restored...

I dunno,,maybe I super-imposed the preacher part on him..there was a guy in CA years ago..he was a preacher and he was trying to sell an old Chrysler...the price was exorbitant and he justified it by saying he was a man of God
