power steering hoses
power steering hoses
Back to NAPA for a Pittman arm power steering seal. And I'm thinking, I should get the hoses replaced at the same time...
'cept, NAPA doesn't indicate they have power steering hoses -- at least, the pressure side -- for '59 Plymouths. Does anybody know where I can get one pronto?

Re: power steering hoses
Hmmm... A quick search of Forward Look suggests Bernbaum is my best bet. That's what I'm going to do, unless someone else has a suggestion...

Re: power steering hoses
Bernbaum is all out. Today I picked up the seal kit at NAPA, and just for kicks, asked if they knew anyone in the area who could make PS pressure hoses. The guy said, "Lemme look 'em up -- yeah, I can get 'em."
Grrrrrrrrr...
No two counter guys are the same, I guess. Here I could have ordered the hoses at the same time, and be done with it tonight when Bill and I replace the seal. Durn it!
Well, for those who are interested -- the part numbers are:
7-1108 PS hose $29.24
7-1207 PS ret hose $20.47
7-317 Seal Kit (318) $18.48
Thanks

Re: power steering hoses
Well, there was a downpour tonight -- no Joisey trek for Faulkner. Hey! Maybe the hoses will come in tomorrow, and I can get the whole thing done at the same time...
(*tap*, *tap*)... Anybody out there? Seems like I'm the only one who's been posting lately... Have I inadvertently locked folks out somehow, and no one's told me yet?

For 67 bucks, + shipping! Yeah, that sounds like Atlas. $50 from NAPA is more to my liking...sportfury1959 wrote:Atlas Parts has them on e-bay.
