i already replied to the email, but i don't mind repeating myself (occasionally anyways).
when i replaced the diffential/rear end i used a '89 diplomat police-package for parts. i used the newer shackles because of the rear sway bar, but i believe there's a stud on the bottom of the shock.? i did this a few years ago, my memory is a touch fuzzy. i used the newer shocks, the top eyelet was just a touch different, difference being that it had a steel sleeve inside the rubber, which i tapped out w/ a screwdriver and hammer. also had to ream out the rubber 1/8" more for the bolt to fit. length was perfect. the front shocks i did not use, but i believe i glanced at them and they looked similar (if not the same).
- on a side note, before i put the shocks on, i could almost get the rear tires to clear the ground bouncing the car, hehe :D --j
There will be no bringing her back here, I'm selling this sh**hole and buying me a condo.
