I own a 59 plymout with a 318 poly motor with dual fours. I am experiencing what appears to be intermitant vapor lock or something that makes the engine cut out after the car warms up. can anyone out there help me diagnos this problem? thanks
the problem may not be vapor lock. A warm-to-hot car can have electrical problems. Is the coil relatively new? Have you tried replacing it?Are your wires clear of grease and oil? Does teh engine have a good ground? Diagnosing the cause can be tedious.
